After I clean about 6 DVDs, the "fly wheel" is out of shape

Like I said, our DVDs were pretty badly damaged, so the fact that this machine helped at all is promising

DVDs work slightly differently, so label-side damage may not be quite so critical

Even called local DVD rental stores to see if they would resurface my troublesome DVDs, but they claimed not to have such equipment.

It looks cheaply made but works and the kids love to watch me clean the DVDS I guess it is entertaining for them.

I have repaired probably a hundred cheap used DVDs with the Skip Dr. Will leave some slight directional scratches on the DVD, but will also make an unplayable DVD work perfectly.

Was very skeptical at first and didn't want to invest the money in it, I fixed my badly scratched Xbox 360 game and plan to fix other dvds lying around, highly recommended jus fallow instructions!

our dvds were still unreadable in places, and this thing is not easy to use.

Great product, however with as cheap as electronic storage and digital media/video players are getting, I highly recommend ripping your DVDs to a hard drive before they get scratched up and potentially forever unplayable.

Before buying this product, check online for toothpaste solutions and Rain-X solutions for your discs -- these actually work, cost next to nothing, and even if they don't work for they won't destroy your DVDs like the SkipDr does!

Simple and does a great job at cleaning CDs and DVDs.

It takes approximately 140-160 turns to clean the DVD and when you're cleaning multiple DVDs that gets old really fast!

My 3 year old son had destroyed many dvds, but I decided to try this before throwing them away

My DVDs were very damaged, so that is why I had to do at least 3 repair sessions on each

I highly recommend this disc repair system if you have scratched up dvds.
