So I read all the reviews on here before buying this and it seemed like this DVD fixing device is working for a lot of people

All my disks are working great now.

Handle constantly falls off frustrating the heck out of me while working it

After repairing CDs, cutscenes tend to still stutter and freeze, but gameplay works like normal.

it play well enough it a regular dvd player, but would no longer work in the more sensitive players, like i have on my computer.

bought the cheaper one and it works this one does not work do not spend money on it

this worked for a few disk then the wheel needed to be replaced, it worked but not as good as I had hoped

This works really good on the minor scratched discs.

The disc itself doesn't look that great, but as long as it works I don't really care what it looks like

We have the electric version of the skip dr, and it has worked really well

The handle stays on for me, and after two to three rotations of the discs, my three Xbox 360 games that I bought all scratched up work perfectly

and it's nice to have them in good working condition.

Maybe I'm just optimistic and persistent, but this worked on a rather nasty circular groove

One time using this Skip Dr and now all is working well

It recovered several of my CD's from being trashed as not working any more

this worked only marginally well - unable to reclaim any badly scratched CD's including some that came that way (Amazon orders) - worked for one that was just skipping a little

You can buy replacement wheels for about $10 each, but it would be nice if the product worked for a bit longer (or came with an extra buffer wheel or two).

The dvd cleaner works well when used correctly.

Delivery was fast and so far it's worked great

Getting a mediocre working copy of Tenkaichi 3 that only includes a copy of the game can easily cost you at least $50, and so getting the game plus the case and cover art for $25 was quite a steal

My suggestions for this product would be to have the buffing process automated like the "sanding" (for lack of a better work) process, and to allow the sanding drum to be replaced.

and I only get my favorite 25 working

While the cleaner works okay at removing smudges it really doesn't offer any repair to surface scratches

I've used it to make CDs and DVDs which had become almost unplayable work reasonably well again, avoiding the cost of replacing the disc
