The cord that goes from the earphones to the computer / Ipod, etc would go bad about every two years

They are flexible and collapse and the cord is super sturdy
The cord on these is detachable, and reversible, so if you want the remote closer to your head or closer to the device you are jacked into, just reverse the cord.

Worst design...hurts head on top....not fixed to head properly..falls often...
These are ok, but they hurt my head after using them for any length of time greater than 20 minutes.
