It would be helpful to have a volume control or choices for a softer sounding alarm.

It also has a chime for a slightly less obnoxious sound

The two settings, alarm versus chime, are also good because the chime is not an unpleasant sound.

I like the ability to have it make a sound or vibrate to notify my if wanders where he is not to go.

I am using the chime sound because it is an easier sound

The siren sound is obnoxious and it scared my wife when it sounded

I believe the manufacturer of this motion sensor could of and should of installed a more pleasant sound other than a siren

There are two tones, one sounds like a doorbell "ding dong", and the other sounds like an ice cream truck

Much better than using a baby monitor , as the sound is loud and allows you to sleep, since it reliably wakes me up when it is triggered

Some reviews complained about the loud sound when the pager goes off.
