This item works great and serves our needs but it says it comes with 2 AA and 2 A23-12v batteries, We needed both pagers to be working asap and this came with the 2- AA but only 1- A23-112v meaning we could only use one pager until we could get to town which is not close and will cause us great inconvenience

If you need a product that will contact you when you are running errands, then this is not the right item...you will need to spend a couple hundred to get one what will call you on your cell phone.

I didn't have the time to exchange for new one in case this one a one-off defective item.
