Still, these are very useful, and the extra space for writing is perfect.
The only downside is because the cutout for the tab is bigger, then viewable space into your folder is bigger, so more of the contents of the paper can be seen.
I love to date my folders, and there's certainly enough space for that too.
An extra wide tab provides ample space for writing down important identification information

These are the BEST file folders ~ you cannot buy this heavy a weight file at your local super store ~ I just won't spend money on flimsy file folders that come apart within the first few times of using them.

Because of the variety or colors, I have found them useful for carrying medical information, financial records, and other important records (birth certificate, auto title, etc.).Because they are not as inexpensive as most file folders, I would not recommend them for most short-term filing
These are much easier to handle than flimsy third cut file folders.
These are heavyweight, sturdy file folders with lots of room for writing or labelling the contents.
