The flaps are easy to write on with a regular pen however because of their brilliant colors the writing can be difficult to read especially on the red and green folders

All four colors are bright and the tabs are large enough to write detailed headings so that organization of the folders and papers is much easier.

One thing to be aware of, if not using folder labels it can be a little difficult to read the writing on the darker color folders

I have always loved having folders around to collect related documents that I needed to have printed out, and these by Smead are VERY sturdy, and the colors make it easy to categorize the contents by color-coding

Now for teachers, this is wonderful because the young students will like these colors

If they have them in another set of 4 colors, I would order those to complement the current colors that I have.
