I would recommend this item for tuning any stringed instrument.

This item is great, and you can expect it to do everything that it claims to do, but I just have one thing to say - I've seen this item on sale at music stores like Guitar Center for more than TWICE the price that it's on sale for on Amazon (currently eleven dollars), which I don't know how they get away with, but if you're thinking about buying one of these wonderful little tools, do it here, because other dealers do the same thing.
