Modern Sonic OverviewModern Sonic's gameplay is the best it's ever been in Generations

The gameplay is smooth, detailed and fast

I enjoyed the Gameplay the Graphics are so good thanks to it's motion blur and the hedgehog engine

Modern Sonic's gameplay is incredibly fast-paced and, for the first time in years, thoroughly enjoyable

The cut scenes looked slightly grainy and not nearly as clear as the gameplay was, but that is only a minor complaint on an overall great package

This game has the excellent 2D gameplay of the classic games, and Sonic the Hedgehog 4, but also the very fun 3D gameplay of Sonic Unleashed (which I actually thought was a great game)

is not without flaws... it falls apart a little at the end with an irritating boss fight with a poor gameplay style, and the presence of the more annoying extra characters

The gameplay is excellent; the graphics are colorful and crisp; the old music and the remixes are tremendous; the hub world is classy and easy to navigate; Sonic is back and impresses on every front in Sonic Generations

While coming close to the classic gameplay, there are some problems with rolling, you dont get a heightened re-bound when hitting an enemy from high up, springs sometimes stop your control, and the spin-dash is too fast and very overpowered

On to gameplay: The game alternates between Classic Sonic gameplay (reminiscent of the gameplay of such titles as Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic & Knuckles) and Modern Sonic gameplay (similar to that of Sonic Colors)

Stages are beautiful, gameplay is fun (at least for classic Sonic, modern Sonic is mostly just ok,) bosses are cool, music is awesome, it's definitely a Sonic fan's dream
