Sonic Ultimate Genesis Collection - Xbox 360

    • There are several titles on this collection that I used to own..but now with this collection I can once again enjoy playing again and again
    • This is accomplished via a widescreen option and a smoothing option (like the Genesis titles you can get on the Xbox Live Arcade). All in all, this is a good collection of classic titles at a decent price (if you downloaded them all from the Xbox Live Arcade - most are available there - you would be paying a lot more) with some other titles thrown in for good measure.
    • Yes the title is correct, you get over 30 classic sega titles.
    • Great game, lots of classic titles, just wish there were a few more games
    • My wife, on the other hand, grew up with a SNES at home instead and was blessed with all of the truly magical titles that graced Nintendo's awesome 16-bit counterpart to the Genesis
    • If you love retro gaming, there are a lot of great titles here on one disc
    • It is great if you don't already own the classic Genesis titles
    • Sonic The Hedgehog have great titles over the years for the PS2, and the Wii, it is definitely easy to get complacid about the beginnings of what made Sega so dominant in the first place
    • An excellent selection of games that seems to touch on many of the popular titles from back in the day.
    • I've never gone for these personally because the value is just not there, but Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection has totally bucked the trend by delivering 40 Genesis games, many of them classic and highly regarded titles, and a host of other features for just $20
    • I just wish it had came with more of those classic titles.
    • Though, there are a handful of missing titles that were included in the Sega Genesis Collection released some years back for the PS2 and PSP
    • There are plenty of other retro game compilations available, including both classic arcade titles and games from the Genesis era, but the majority of them are full of filler with a few choice games thrown in to justify the price
    • The only real disappointment is the first two Shinobi games are not included (only Shinobi III) and the classic titles that were cross-platform with the SNES are also not here
