Sonos Play:1 Compact Wireless Speaker for Streaming Music. Works with Alexa. (White)

    • I now have two expensive paperweights.
    • Finally, I was able to connect it to the Show, played a song, and then it immediately disconnected, the Show even announced it was disconnecting, and went back to playing Like a Rolling Stone, This happen repeatedly over and over, rending the Play:1 useless--except for being a very expensive paperweight!
    • And the Expensive Paperweight Award goes to....drum roll
    • Thus, if Sonus ever goes out of business, you own an expensive paperweight
    • Just trying to return this overpriced paperweight.
    • Sonos may issue a software update that bricks your system (speakers then make nice paperweights).

    • In short, if you’re willing to put in the time regularly to get this system working as it’s supposed to, are okay with very few customization options and don’t need to share the system with anyone else in your household, you may be perfectly happy using Sonos
    • If you are sitting at your computer fooling around online and your favorite song just doesn't sound quite as crisp as you would like it to, or if you have a $200 budget to fill 1 room in your house with sound, keep looking, your speaker is out there somewhere ;-)I hope this helps, Cheers!
    • Although Sonos advertising their product works with Alexsa, Alexsa does not want to work with Sonos as of today December 2017
    • Old classic rock, R&B, Jazz and Gospel, sound as if you were at a live performance
    • Won't work on 5g
    • n’t see that it’s improved in any way (and it’s very buggy)
    • It doens’t support AirPlay and there are no plans to add support for it.
