None of that would matter if the system didn't sound good

Fabulous system for accessing my music from wherever it is stored or streaming any service

It is a good system overall, and it sounds good - really good, BETTER than any iHome product, and to be honest, as good as some Bose products I've listened to.

Sonos really has put out a superior product line, with fantastic sound and incredible simplicity of use, and when you consider the fact that you can plug these wireless babies in anywhere, the system is pretty hard to beat.

Sonos is by far the best music system for any house.

This system is not really portable and works best if left at a single place and on the same network, to avoid having to re-do setup

I just plugged in the Bridge (i.e. to "bridge" from your network to the sonos device(s)) to the wall and my router, pressed a button on the top of the bridge and tapped on the controller (for me it was my iPad), and boom - the system was on my network and ready to stream music.

It took me about 15 minutes to get it setup from the box and most of that time was either waiting for our slow internet to download the firmware updates or ogling how gorgeous and amazing this new system was.-Handoff between devices is perfect

If you will have a computer or smartphone available, there's no reason to prefer this system over a regular Bluetooth speaker unless you find the utility of letting multiple users change playlists from their own smartphones is worth letting sonos control where you get your music from and the loss of an aux input.

The quality of the sound clearly approaches that of my Bose Portable system bought five years ago with clear treble sound and sufficiently deep base to allow me to enjoy classical music

System is rarely immediately available.

w/their tech support at least half a dozen times over the last 2 years when their system goes out, or a music service doesn't work

I hope they support Google Music sometime soon, or direct streaming from Android devices like they have from iOS now, but the overall system is great for keeping your house rocking.

The system works great, but the sound is much less than I expected for so much money.

When it works, it's a good solution, and maybe new software will eventually fix this, but an appliance this is _not_: It's another networked, buggy computer system in my house in the exact spot where I was hoping to have something that "just works".

Sure this whole system is pricey but who cares, it is easy to set up and it is wait for it...wireless

When combined with the PlayBar and Sub, you have a great surround system.

I think this system is so great I was almost positive this was developed and designed by Steve Jobs at Apple.

You could come home from work one day and the system won't be working

The sound quality is very good, however, its controller software keeps "losing" the system, so just about every few days I have to go back through the setup process.

I ahve to connect, then disconnect and then hit this and that...with today's technolog, this system is absolute garbage

This box could address some of the Play:3 limitations as well as offering an easy way to connect the Sonos system to an Apple TV.Overall, I am extremely pleased with my purchase and will likely buy another Play:3 shortly to further enhance my system

System is very easy to setup and add components

and I'll probably end up spending more than I anticipated on my 2 bedroom condo, but the iPad and Android-phone controllers are great and the whole system is so much fun, that I'll just keep buying more and more players (their strategy, obviously).

I have tested and reviewed many tech components and this day SONOS was by far the easiest system to get up and running in record time

I have a very intense surround system in my living room

And almost every time it updates the software, none of my music will work correctly, with the system finding "server errors" so it cannot find any of my music.

SONOS is the best speaker system out there in the wireless industry.

I could not be more thrilled with this relatively expensive system, but you get what you pay for.

I purchased to give my system more flexibility.

the reality is you will be updating controllers and players more often then you will hear the music and the system will frustrate you to no end as it will rarely work as expected (don’t buy the Voice command player unless you like to swear loudly to an electronic box that could care less and have your outburst simply scare your dog).

The Sonos 3/ 5 are great SPEAKER systems, really, for your music, especially if you don't need, or don't have the space for, a full stereo or a bunch of larger speakers.

In retrospect the system is too awkward for me.

The app isn't as easy to use as it should be, but this system is extremely user friendly, and has brought music back into my life.

I've been using the Sonos Play 3 for a couple of weeks now with a Sonos wireless bridge and I have to say it is quite a remarkable system.

The marketing tagline is to make "listening easy" but if you run into problems all of the sudden Sonos will tell you that you have a bad iPhone, wireless system or some other issue not related to Sonos and they will not support you.

Now I'm able to listen to music that I've purchased from Amazon without having to find the CD!I would highly recommend the Sonos system for setting up a streaming music system in your house

Would work for a few songs, then the system would automatically lower the volume of the wired speakers so effectively, they were off .
