Sonos Play:3 Mid-Sized Wireless Smart Speaker for Streaming Music. Works with Alexa. (Black)

    • None of that would matter if the system didn't sound good
    • Fabulous system for accessing my music from wherever it is stored or streaming any service
    • It is a good system overall, and it sounds good - really good, BETTER than any iHome product, and to be honest, as good as some Bose products I've listened to.
    • Sonos really has put out a superior product line, with fantastic sound and incredible simplicity of use, and when you consider the fact that you can plug these wireless babies in anywhere, the system is pretty hard to beat.
    • Incredible system
    • Great speaker and great system.
    • Sonos is by far the best music system for any house.
    • This system is not really portable and works best if left at a single place and on the same network, to avoid having to re-do setup
    • I just plugged in the Bridge (i.e. to "bridge" from your network to the sonos device(s)) to the wall and my router, pressed a button on the top of the bridge and tapped on the controller (for me it was my iPad), and boom - the system was on my network and ready to stream music.
    • It took me about 15 minutes to get it setup from the box and most of that time was either waiting for our slow internet to download the firmware updates or ogling how gorgeous and amazing this new system was.-Handoff between devices is perfect
    • If you will have a computer or smartphone available, there's no reason to prefer this system over a regular Bluetooth speaker unless you find the utility of letting multiple users change playlists from their own smartphones is worth letting sonos control where you get your music from and the loss of an aux input.
    • The Husband's POVThe system is flawed.
    • The versatility to set up different speakers in various rooms and to play different music in each room makes this a pleasing system.
    • Amazing sound system
    • Sonos is the best sound system
    • Love the sonos system.
    • The quality of the sound clearly approaches that of my Bose Portable system bought five years ago with clear treble sound and sufficiently deep base to allow me to enjoy classical music
    • System is rarely immediately available.
    • w/their tech support at least half a dozen times over the last 2 years when their system goes out, or a music service doesn't work
    • I hope they support Google Music sometime soon, or direct streaming from Android devices like they have from iOS now, but the overall system is great for keeping your house rocking.
    • The system works great, but the sound is much less than I expected for so much money.
    • It is versatile, the sound is very good and the system, itself, is easy to install
    • every good system needs one and I have to say that their listed price is insane
    • I decided to give the Sonos powered speakers a try first, since we already have two Sonos Zone Players (now called "Connect") in our house and love the Sonos system
    • The Wife's POVI absolutely love the system
    • The system is very flexible.
    • So, so far, I can't even really rate the system since it won't even work in my Mac environment.
    • I recommend this audio system for any audiophile and especially those living in apartments or small homes
    • I have a system and love it
    • I'm ready to admit I was wrong about SONOS, and buy a user friendly system.
    • Love this system!
    • I recommend this system to anyone who has ears.
    • When it works, it's a good solution, and maybe new software will eventually fix this, but an appliance this is _not_: It's another networked, buggy computer system in my house in the exact spot where I was hoping to have something that "just works".
    • I love this system
    • I hope that reasonably priced and more user-friendly competing systems will be developed soon--when that happens I will sell my Sonos system and move up to something more intuitive and user-friendly
    • Sure this whole system is pricey but who cares, it is easy to set up and it is wait for it...wireless
    • (no need to go back to the app to change the volume). All in all I love the Sonos system and plan on buying a couple more speakers for other rooms down the road
    • and I set up a BETTER system in under 10 minutes
    • I had major problems hooking the system up to my desktop
    • This system makes it super easy to retrofit a room for surround sound without having wires running all over the place.
    • I have a meager $5k sound system, and, not to toot my own horn or anything, but for the money, the system is incredible
    • I have a meager $5k sound system, and, not to toot my own horn or anything, but for the money, the system is incredible
    • and I have to say this system is incredible on so many different levels
    • When combined with the PlayBar and Sub, you have a great surround system.
    • I think this system is so great I was almost positive this was developed and designed by Steve Jobs at Apple.
    • You could come home from work one day and the system won't be working
    • The sound quality is very good, however, its controller software keeps "losing" the system, so just about every few days I have to go back through the setup process.
    • I ahve to connect, then disconnect and then hit this and that...with today's technolog, this system is absolute garbage
    • This is one of the best wireless sound systems on the market
    • It's a great system, and I can't wait to add more speakers.
    • I guess I have to scrap this expensive system and look for a Bluetooth speaker if I want to use iTunes.
    • I am a VERY computer literate audiophile, with a decent system
    • I don't have one as a single, so I can't comment on that, but as a 5.1 sound system, very, very good!
    • App is lacklusterAfter looking at Sonos for a couple years, I decided to start off with a single Play 3 to see if I liked the overall Sonos system
    • Amazing system
    • Unlike my beats pill speaker that is great for travelingPrice --I do think these systems are a little pricey
    • I straight up love my Sonos system.
    • I really enjoy Sonos System
    • Love the Sonos system.
    • It's a great system for wireless playback.
    • Unfortunately, the system is less reliable than a 1970s stereo system
    • If you're looking to buy a new, expensive, Hi Fi replacement system or new system for a different area of the house and don't want to figure out how to stream your PC audio to a series of wireless speakers, and don't mind being locked into the stations and speakers provided by sonus - it's cool
    • After a few days, the system became unstable.
    • This box could address some of the Play:3 limitations as well as offering an easy way to connect the Sonos system to an Apple TV.Overall, I am extremely pleased with my purchase and will likely buy another Play:3 shortly to further enhance my system
    • You will not find a better Speaker or System on the Market.
    • System is very easy to setup and add components
    • and I'll probably end up spending more than I anticipated on my 2 bedroom condo, but the iPad and Android-phone controllers are great and the whole system is so much fun, that I'll just keep buying more and more players (their strategy, obviously).
    • I have tested and reviewed many tech components and this day SONOS was by far the easiest system to get up and running in record time
    • Hate leaving the comfort of my whole home Howard Stern playing system.
    • We have enjoyed the Sonos System for our home
    • Awesome system
    • We love our Sonos system.
    • I have a very intense surround system in my living room
    • And almost every time it updates the software, none of my music will work correctly, with the system finding "server errors" so it cannot find any of my music.
    • SONOS is the best speaker system out there in the wireless industry.
    • I could not be more thrilled with this relatively expensive system, but you get what you pay for.
    • I purchased to give my system more flexibility.
    • the reality is you will be updating controllers and players more often then you will hear the music and the system will frustrate you to no end as it will rarely work as expected (don’t buy the Voice command player unless you like to swear loudly to an electronic box that could care less and have your outburst simply scare your dog).
    • By far the best system for wireless speakers
    • The Sonos 3/ 5 are great SPEAKER systems, really, for your music, especially if you don't need, or don't have the space for, a full stereo or a bunch of larger speakers.
    • In retrospect the system is too awkward for me.
    • This system is very versatile, easy to setup and upgradable
    • The app isn't as easy to use as it should be, but this system is extremely user friendly, and has brought music back into my life.
    • Absolutely love this system.
    • For over $700 this system should work.
    • We live in a large house with several large rooms and this is an excellent speaker system
    • Love this sound system.
    • I LOVE LOVE LOVE the SONOS system!
    • The flexibility and rf control make this system the best.
    • Not only is the sound ear candy, but the system is adaptive to your particular needs.
    • This is a fail proof system that rocks the house
    • For goodness sake Sonos, come down to earth and give us a usable system.
    • I've been using the Sonos Play 3 for a couple of weeks now with a Sonos wireless bridge and I have to say it is quite a remarkable system.
    • Love the whole SONOS system.
    • Not a lot can be said that hasn't been said already about what a great system this is for getting music off your media player or PC out to where you want it.
    • Great sound for such an expensive system.
    • This is simply an incredible sounds system!
    • your fancy speaker is about as useful as those prop stereo systems at Ikea
    • The system is great
    • The system works flawlessly and sounds really good.
    • Then start streaming Amazon Music or Sirius XM and you really understand why this system is so great!
    • Love the SONOS system
    • The best system ever!
    • I LOVE this system
    • This is a really cool system.
    • Would highly recommend this system to someone who appreciates music playing throughout the day.
    • I won't knock off a star for this since the speaker is not advertised as anything else, just know going in, it's a closed system that does what it's supposed to very well
    • But I haven't seen a system that is as flexible as the Sonos system that delivers decent sound at a reasonable price
    • Great sound system.
    • We LOVE our Sonos system!
    • To build a complete great sounding system gets very expensive.
    • This is my fourth sonos speaker and they're really pretty amazing system.
    • I highly recommend the Sonos music system
    • The system is easy to use and we now have tonnes of music streaming in.
    • Sonos may not be the "cheapest" system for home music, but it is the best.
    • The system is incredibly easy to set up
    • Love this wireless speaker system
    • Great system!
    • This system has not worked since the day we purchased it about 8 months ago.
    • Sonos is one of if not the best wireless speaker systems out there
    • Brillant sound, exzellent sound system, easy to handle.
    • For a long time I've wanted to have a good music system to play all these mp3 files I'm been collecting
    • Completely unreliable system.
    • I love the Sonos system.
    • and I have never seen a more "flawless" system with so many moving wifi parts
    • love the system have 2 of them one in the dinning room one out by the pool
    • Fabulous system, I have a number of these units throughout the house.
    • I love this system
    • The entire system works flawlessly and the controlling app is a breeze.
    • They have turned a wonderful system into this awful thing that I now hat and loathe using
    • This system is great!
    • There are better systems out there which also use Bluetooth just in case you run into the problems you can encounter with Sonos
    • This is a great system, if
    • The marketing tagline is to make "listening easy" but if you run into problems all of the sudden Sonos will tell you that you have a bad iPhone, wireless system or some other issue not related to Sonos and they will not support you.
    • Now I'm able to listen to music that I've purchased from Amazon without having to find the CD!I would highly recommend the Sonos system for setting up a streaming music system in your house
    • Love the Sonos system!
    • Would work for a few songs, then the system would automatically lower the volume of the wired speakers so effectively, they were off .
    • The best wireless system on the market!
    • Great stereo system
