The Playbase is a great device as well, with well separated, and precise audio, with well balanced BASS

Definitely has some decent bass in it

I had heard you may not need to buy the Sonos Sub if you got the Base and I’m not sure if I would go that far, but the bass is impressive.

Tried the Zvox 670 (muddy out of control sound) and new Samsung MS750 (decent sound, good features, weak bass)

I was worried about not having enough bass and having to spend another $700 for a sub.
-
Great sound and bass.

This thing bumps bass and has a super clean sound.

I can hear little details now and the bass is fantastic

Sound is crisp and clear, with enough bass to handle my bedroom for basic movie and music needs.
-
The bass from the 10" wireless sub was nice though.
-
It produces great bass and fills the room quite well
-
I'm not a huge booming bass fan, and this unit has a smooth bass output fit nicely into such a flat unit.
-
Amazing sound and great bass
-
Tight crisp sound with enough bass to satisfy me
-
crisp sound, powerful bass for its size, fit under my 55 in tv perfectly, and lastly... very easy to set up.
-
I ran a test comparing the soundbase to my ceiling B and W speakers with SVS Sub and the same audio tracks and although the B and W Speakers (Powered by a Sonos Connect AMP) were the clear winners, the Soundbase punched way above its weight.

and it's an easy install, as well as being nearly invisible under your TV.
