Dynamic Range in shadowed areas is not quite as good as the A7RII, but still better than a lot of the competition.- User friendly
-
The dynamic range isn't quite as good as some of the other Sony cameras but it's good and adequate for my purposes
-
There are other Sony and non-Sony cameras that have more dynamic range, but honestly, even for portraits or family sessions where there are moving elements, this camera can grab some shots that others can't
-
ISO range enough not to explode noise all over, dual slot, bigger & better design, Ethernet/wifi/Bluetooth, looks durable too
-
The a9 has a better dynamic range and better low light abilities than the a7r
-
Ridiculously high prices with disappointing specifications.1.Only 24 megapixels, dynamic range and sensor noise still remains the same/or even worse than the previous a7 series.2.No further improvement on Auto White balance accuracy.3

The problem: Eye-AF ONLY works when you assign a physical button to do it and it ONLY works as long as you hold down that button
-
At 50 ISO the 7RII outshines the A9 as well as at 6400 ISO.
