    Sony BDP-BX57 Blu-ray Disc Player, 3D-ready with built-in WI-FI

    • My apple TV works great when streaming.
    • As I write this I am watching "Taxi Driver" in beautiful HD streaming on a 73" screen
    • Hold Netflix and their unstable streaming process accountable and responsible for poor streaming and connection issues and stop blaming the problem on the streaming devices and ISP bandwidth issues.
    • If Sony's servers have a high load, your stream suffers, or in the worst case you get network down or unavailable
    • A great Blu-Ray player with excellent WiFi media streaming
    • The large issue with this unit is the same for ALL SONY Blu-Rays accessing Netflix, the premier streaming service
    • The wireless streaming and home network connections work flawlessly
    • Just very viewable streaming
    • the streaming was flawless
    • What I really don't like is the streaming
    • I initially set it up with wireless g router and was having issues with it ( same router was streaming netflix fine with insignia blu ray player )
    • but I think the streaming is better on the Sony BDP-BX57/S570
    • I compare my Netflix experience with this player to my experience with the Roku player (which of course, doesn't play Blu Rays, LOL) and navigation here is not quite as good as with the Roku
    • Having confirmed my cable modem, network speed and sustained throughput are working as they should on my PC, I wondered why I was getting constant buffering issues when streaming Netflix and YouTube videos through the Sony BDP-BX57
    • Very cool easy to set up to internet and to TV 3-d isn't as great as I'd like it to be more in
    • Unfortunately, when I tried to view any Netflix movie, I got a "not available just yet" sort of message
