I do NOT like the buttons for turning the machine off/on, play, etc are on top not on the front of the machine.

The controller is extremely small and simple, with large pictograms on the critical buttons

The buttons on top have been changed in the newer model, because I suspect like mine within a few months they started falling in the player making them not use able, or the other buttons are very stubborn to work

You are telling me that I must pick up the remote and push an arbitrary button for no good reason 3 to 4 times during any movie just to keep the player on.

First off the remote is small and easy to hit wrong button if you move it around

The "open/close" button on the machine just completely broke and caved in, so it is no longer usable
