    Sony BDP-S185 Blu-Ray Disc Player (2012 Model)

    • Good quality player, came with no damages to it and in a short amount of time.
    • The size of the blu-ray player is compact, it delivers AMAZING blu-ray picture quality, and it comes with plenty of streaming apps and internet content such as Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, and more
    • However, the quality of streaming is very good, and I have had no issues with this since I purchased.
    • The quality of the product and its output is outstanding.
    • Gave as gift, perfect for first time bluray owner, also gave bluray movie and the new owner could not believe the quality and how nice the picture was.
    • I did watch a few blu-ray disks and the quality was superb for both video and audio
    • I finally hooked up this Blu-Ray player and I like the picture quality as well
    • Blu Ray movies look great, nice, sharp and of good quality
    • The quality is great
    • The quality of the play back is great and the sound good
    • Sony, We all turn back at you since your quality was good during 1990s and 2000s.
    • The movies are very good quality, and it is nice being able to have so much data fit onto Blu-Ray discs
    • Not only can I hear every detail I also love the picture quality.
    • Love this, easy setup and there are so many free movies you can watch with its neat features, with great quality just like you were watching on a DVD or TV
    • You'll also need an HDMI cable to get the best quality - the AV cables in the box don't do an HDTV justice
    • this is just what my husband wanted and it is good quality, good picture, and takes up much less space!
    • Its been very reliable as far as quality of playback and usage
    • This little machine is crispy-clear quality and I get my Netflix on a large monitor in the living room, whilst wired directly into my router in the office
    • The quality of the picture is excellent, and I have an OLD TV, and it has all the features I was looking for in a BLU RAY DVD player
    • It seems to have better playback quality than the Roku we have downstairs, but the Netflix and Hulu interfaces are a bit more cumbersome.
    • Its' quality is as good as Sony gets
    • Straight forward Sony blu-ray player, no issues, good quality picture, some basic internet apps included as well
    • It does the job, but the quality of the bluray could be better
    • Save the money and trouble and get something less expensive--the quality in craftsmanship can't be worse.
    • And many of client's can see the better picture quality too.
    • i would recommend transcoding a movie file to dvd format and viewing in that format if the production is of good quality, like amazing graphics.
    • Great image quality.
    • The quality of the stream is good, I assume it is HD, but I haven't yet figured out how to pull up the streaming stats
    • The quality is incredible on a standard machine.
    • Good quality
    • The quality is superb
    • Constant buffering freezes, 0.6 to 0.8 M download speed, horrible video quality.
    • Great quality picture (as the blue-ray should be).You can't beat refurbished price
    • Sony is a good quality for a blu ray player.
    • Very small, quiet, SONY quality.
    • The quality of the picture is great, the sound is good too, load times seem good too for the discs i have tried
    • Shoddy quality is too good of a descriptior.
    • CAN GIVE WITNESS IS HIGH QUALITY AND SATISFY MY
    • Sony has always provided good quality product.
    • Shoddy quality is too good of a descriptior.
    • Good quality product the only thing is that it does not have a wifi connection.
    • "clunkier"The quality of the blu-ray playback is really good, the audio quality from both movies and pandora (i use the paid version) are great, i would say if you are not into playing stored backups this is a good deal, HD on netflix looks very good on a 20Mb connection + there's a ton more channels and features installed on the device, this is a great player for the money, if it wasn't for the ugly cinavia protection i would gave it 5 stars, if you're into playing a lot of backups i strongly suggest you go with another player perhaps wireless too, other than that this a great bang for the buck
    • Excellent video and sound quality.....good deal!
    • The audio quality is terrible: we can hear the music soundtrack of movies but can barely hear the movie dialogue
    • It works great for those and also is of very good quality for watching Blu-Ray.
    • Only after we ejected the disc did we start to see the same artifacts happening in the on scree menu features as well.$70 is nothing in the grand scheme of things, but I still have other products 10 years or older in other entertainment centers throughout the house which function almost as well as the day they were purchased
    • I recommend this player as it has an auto power off feature, even if you are online
    • Works great as a
    • Also, does not have built in WIFI, but this did not bother me as I had a wired Ethernet port near the TV.FYI: I did update the firmware before trying to use it, so I don't know if there were problems that were fixed or not.
    • The extremely high frequency of "Content Error" or "Network Error" and "Retry" messages whenever it tries to move from a show to an ad break or back, as well as having to click on Hulu Plus 7 or more times just trying to get onto internet content when the player has just been turned back on is enough to make the player too frustrating to bother with.
    • The item worked as it was supposed to
    • I all ready had a combination VHS Blue Ray, but had found myself using mainly the DVD/BD secton of it.
    • , i really loved it, it is cheap it has all i need, i will recommend t
