This is an excellent blu-Ray player with a very small footprint as the size of a netbook that weights around 2 to 3 pounds and it will not occupy your room

enough.the small size is great, and mine sits unobtrusively on top of a stack of components.

Upconverting DVDs looks really good, but occasionally pixelated depending on the source quality(you are going from 480 to 1080p here)I really like the compact size of both the unit and the remote.
