Quality was great, responsive, and fast while functioning; but I likely will not purchase another Sony blu ray player, even though I'm a huge PlayStation fan and am completely satisfied with that product line.

I cannot criticize the picture quality or DVD playback, but there are problems with the operating software and apps, which load very slowly and are really quirky on this box
