Since the HDMI connection is the only one provided on the S6700, the problem with playing classic DVDs on it remains unresolved

Playing DVDs, no problems at all yet

We have played many Region 1 DVDs and Blu-Ray discs, as well as three Region 2 DVDs since delivery; all have played well

Flexibility to play any regional format is great since some desirable dvds are not available in north American region formats.

I have been using it since March 4th, 2018, so far, it plays well French (regular and Blue Ray) and British DVDs

When I use my old, regular DVD player for those classic DVDs ( with 4:3 picture ), the "normal" option is available and everything is fine
