I tried other Blu-ray discs that I had along with other standard DVD titles and nothing works.

I am still not convincedthat blue ray is worth the cost if you have a good dvd player.

The displays in the big box stores make standard DVD look like VHS but with the better HD receivers, this is clearly not the case.

(My crappy DVD player from the '90s had position memory.

I'll never be fooled into thinking that this player loads disks as fast as a normal DVD player, but that's a price we pay for the 1080p resolution
