Been watching both bluray and traditional DVDs and love the pic quality

On both of my players the Amazon prime movies through the app are terrible quality

The streaming is fine but if you plan on watching a lot of streaming buy a Amazon Fire TV with its better video quality and a better interface including voice search

Sony also has some color improvement circuitry that improves the picture quality when you use their player with their TV, but that's on the higher priced models, not this one

Been watching all the Bond films on blue ray and the quality great

Don't have any blu ray discs, but regular dvds play with exceptional quality.

I am happy with this, I wanted to place my Roku 3 downstairs, so I bought this for upstairs, plays Blu-Rays as good as you can ask for and has alot of streaming channels including Amazon.
