I am very happy to report that in my opinion this unit does a much better job (night and day really) of up-scaling content and it looks amazing on the Vizio television

The Sony BDPS6500 does a beautiful job reproducing the sound from these discs, plus I now have the option of purchasing Blu Ray Audio discs too.
