    Sony BDPS6500 3D 4K Upscaling Blu-ray Player with Wi-Fi (2015 Model)

    • This is not the only blu ray that has had problems with internet connectivity and it probably wont be the last for some unknown reason.
    • It uses the Opera web browser, which for some unknown reason has quit incorporating Flash in its Linux version.
    • I bought the BDPS6500 for an unusual reason
    • it looks awful at “4k/24p” with a DVD with these two settings the other way for some strange reason
    • For some strange reason, the player requires my password each time it is turned on.
    • The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it crashes/freezes frequently
    • But BD-R and DVD-R work fine
    • Its compatible alright, but so slow as the be unusable
    • Two weeks out of warranty, it burned up, or as good as.
    • Now, on to more important issues for this new S6500: performance is very high for Blu-Ray (regular and 3D), for older DVDs as well as for streaming (Amazon Prime)
    • Its fast, it works as it should, doesn't freeze up, my wife loves how easy to operate it is and the netflix button is a great option, we are very pleased
