This is not the only blu ray that has had problems with internet connectivity and it probably wont be the last for some unknown reason.

it looks awful at “4k/24p” with a DVD with these two settings the other way for some strange reason

For some strange reason, the player requires my password each time it is turned on.

The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it crashes/freezes frequently

But BD-R and DVD-R work fine

Its compatible alright, but so slow as the be unusable

Two weeks out of warranty, it burned up, or as good as.

Now, on to more important issues for this new S6500: performance is very high for Blu-Ray (regular and 3D), for older DVDs as well as for streaming (Amazon Prime)

Its fast, it works as it should, doesn't freeze up, my wife loves how easy to operate it is and the netflix button is a great option, we are very pleased
