When attempting to go to streaming services, this unit will sometimes freeze up

Unit continues to ignore the remote, even with new batteries.

If you're in the market to get a new player, I wouldn't recommend this unit but would recommend you check out the Samsung which Amazon currently has on backorder.

Have the unit in bedroom, about 22-24 feet from wireless source, and have, at times, lost signal when the door was closed.

The only leg-up it's got on the ROKU is the Netflix & Amazon streaming interfaces are substantially better on the Sony.edit 5/30/2017: The original and replacement units both are unusable on my network (and the only devices I've ever had not work on my network)

Purchased 3 months ago and now report this is an awesome unit!!!!!Heads up

concerts very well, but the unit was extremely slow and laggy to navigate

The unit is nice and compact, probably about 30% smaller than my previous unit

with any of the other units available, some of them at 4 times the price

This is a simple, clean, and well designed unit

The unit freezes EVERY time it goes through a power up cycle.

This unit is also very compact, and it actually replaces a much larger unit that wouldn't fit in my new cabinet [not sure what they do with all that extra space in the jumbo players - obviously not needed - who wants big electronics in today

It's clear that this unit is a total lemon right out of the gate.

I don't need 3D or 4K, but reasoned that the horsepower required for these features would make the basic unit quicker, more responsive, etc

So this compact unit replaced two players, the older Sony Blu-Ray player and an SACD player

- it may let you watch one episode of a series then the unit just freezes and you literally have to unplug it and restart it to watch another episode.

Now, because I asked for a refund and refused 70%, SONY will not authorize an exchange of the defective unit either

You have to press a button to get the info to display on the TV screen to see how many minutes have played/ how many are left in the movie.11/03 update: This unit disappoints me daily

This is a great unit and fits very well in a small space.
