Sony DSCHX80/B High Zoom Point & Shoot Camera (Black)

    • Handles night shots (where the flash fills you in, but gets the display/architecture/fountain) behind you in nice lighting very well.
    • I'm disappointed the camera does not come with a battery charger included - I purchased an extra set of batteries with charger to solve that problem). All in all, a nice light long-zoom point-and-shoot
    • Low light photos are pathetic (the HX50V took terrific low light pics which is what sold me on it in the first place)
    • The DSC HX80 is feature-rich, from the pop-up viewfinder (great for bright light when you can't see the screen) and flash to the articulating screen (useful for selfies or covert shots when people think you aren't using it) to a host of manual and programmable settings, and then some.
    • Takes great closeups for my on-line store, and good interior low-light shots for inside my rentals
    • But, the reality is, the picture quality is very poor in all but the brightest lighting.
    • It makes shooting photos in bright light easy
