Sony ECMCS3 Clip Style Omnidirectional Stereo Microphone, Silver

    • This omni clip did not pick up the sound well of the interviewee and it was very hard to fix in iMovie when editing
    • Even with the portable speaker belted on her pants behind her back and the microphone clipped near her mouth on her shirt, the portable speaker continued to emit high-pitched distortion sounds.
    • The mic is very cool - small, unobtrusive clip-on providing surprisingly good sound quality.
    • For anyone wondering, the clip comes off as follows (without breaking it and being able to reinstall it later, if desired): There's a pin that holds the hinge/pivot point of the plastic jaw together
    • and I have to be careful to to break the clip off.
    • There should be a wind Muffler over it and a sturdier clip
    • Cheap, good quality clip on mic
    • The only problem is the clip.
    • Exactly what we needed as a portable clip-on mic to accompany our microrecorder, which can slip right into a pocket
    • BUT -- the real solution is to use an oversize metal clip that you can buy for $10 on BAYBE - it's the same diameter and will slide right on.
    • The clip is also pointless
    • This little clip on mic is great!
    • Clip is awful, the audio from this cheap mic is incredible .
    • Love the short cable length and clip
    • Bought to replace another cheap clip on mic for my
    • The clip and design go perfect together for anything you are trying to accomplish.
    • Cheap, good quality clip on mic
    • The problem is the cheap plastic clip
    • The one complaint I have (and withheld a star for it) is that the clip is not the best
    • The weight of the mic can cause the clip to come loose and drop if you're not careful where you clip it
    • Rotating clip has 90º indents that hold sufficiently, clip is rugged and strong
    • They work great, best clip-on mic I've used.
    • They work great, best clip-on mic I've used.
    • It is very sensitive and functions well when clipped to a shirt.
    • I abuse this mic constantly and neither the clip nor any other part of the microphone has been damaged
    • Works fine clipped to a keyboard cable, though you will increase the background noise level, obviously
    • Love the clip.
    • For the price, there are only 2 ways to beat this microphone (black color and stronger clip for the same price)
    • Seems to work well and the little clip seems pretty strong.
    • The clip is bad, and the cable is short
    • ALL GOOD - clipped to my shirt
    • I didn't know this until I just broke the clip on purpose
    • What not to like?Silver color makes it harder to cover up/conceal and stands out too much, the clip is weak and doesn't hold on tightly
    • the clip doesn't grip my shirt as much as I'd like
    • Best Budget clip Mic is the best I can't belive such great sound recording for this really cheap mic that actually works as good as other ones really expensive
    • Works great as a clip-on mic for PC gaming
    • My only complaint is that the clip is a little difficult to take off.
    • Sensitivity is pretty good, size is manageable and the clip is great.
    • The clip and rotating Mic of the lavelier is very adjustable and doesnt move much once you've positioned it in the place you want
    • The speech recognition works great when clipped onto my shirt
    • The only nit is the clip feels a bit weak
    • Everything is plastic, including the delicate clip which could wear out due to repeated use/stress
    • This is the best clip-
    • Just make sure to plug it in to the top L/R module and go into the menu to enable "plug-in power
    • The only issue I had was that I had to reverse the L and R microphones to comfortable clip it on my shirt collar in a concealed manner
