It's a really great microphone, the quality is very good for the price
This microphone works nicely and records my voice with minimal background noise
Better sound and more reliable than our expensive Rode microphone.
This is a solid microphone and my voice sounds great on it
Building a "dead cat" microphone anti-wind muff for this mic is kind of a 5-minute ordeal, but once it's done, this is easily one of the best mics I've used
Clip is awful, the audio from this cheap mic is incredible .
Best Budget clip Mic is the best I can't belive such great sound recording for this really cheap mic that actually works as good as other ones really expensive
BUT -- the real solution is to use an oversize metal clip that you can buy for $10 on BAYBE - it's the same diameter and will slide right on.
My only complaint is that the clip is a little difficult to take off.
I abuse this mic constantly and neither the clip nor any other part of the microphone has been damaged
I found nothing horrible about this mic in post audio editing, was able to get a good s/n ratio and with slight manipulations to certain frequencies, it sounded just fine to me
Sound is good, not excellent, it picks up lots of ambient noises and

Picks up ambient noise very well along with clear dialogue
It's very sensitive though and it can make ambient noises more intense
It works as it is supposed to, but it records at a VERY quiet volume, and boosting its volume is either too loud or too soft
It provides good quality recording in a quiet environment, but unfortunately the road noise transmitted in my otherwise great but noisy Mazda 3 resulted in many Dragon transcription errors
I was hoping that the mic would help to lessen the road noise from the car and make my voice sound more clear and louder
Instead it made the road noise louder and crackled a lot, almost like there was a short in it
Another thing that made me choose this was that it didn't have a super long cord as well as it didn't have a built in battery to contend with
I'd seen this recommended by several youtubers who get great sound with the same application, but I lost everything to wind noise once I hit about 35 mph, no matter what kind of wind screen or dead cat I fashoned for it
You can't remove the back clip making very difficult to put a dead cat on it
It works as it is supposed to, but it records at a VERY quiet volume, and boosting its volume is either too loud or too soft
The vibrations from the road, engine, wind (even with a dead cat on it), and even just closing the door in a car will make this mic give a nasty static noise which totally ruins the sound, can't even fix it in post
The quality of the voice is pretty clear and crisp but not as great as we wanted
A lot of people in the Q & A section said it does work with the iPhone, but I promise, it doesn't unless you have the converter
Apparently this does not work with iPhones but can if you get an adapter
However it seems that the mics themselves have a highly omnidirectional pickup pattern so it does not produce a strong stereo image and does pick up quite a bit of background/ambient sound.
Decided to try this lapel mic for indoor interview shooting since it was inexpensive since my wireless system does produce a slight hum even with gain adjustments (can be removed in editing)
The mic does not work on my Macbook Pro, but it works on my PC.
but with some editing software I am able to eliminate the background noise.
It would catch your voice and everything, but the background noise was what ruined it for me
The Blue Yeti picks up background noise even in "Cardioid mode," so I actually prefer this little inexpensive Sony ECMCS3 lapel mic to my studio mics for webinars and podcasting with video

Minimal need if any to adjust audio for background noise

I did make a custom sponge cover for the mic which took away all of the wind noise
It allows for a natural sound without the negatives of wind noise

When riding my dirt bike, I had to put a wind sock or dead cat over the mic to significantly reduce wind noise
