The automatic time set feature is quite amazing and convenient when having to unplug the unit to move it from place to place.

The clock has many cool features: Auto time/date set; then you set your time zone and it will change automatically for daylight savings time; it also automatically knows to add a day for leap year.

I don'the know why Sony discontinued this model - it is the right size, has the right features, and the alarm time can be set forward or backward!

And the daylight savings time featured worked last Saturday.

The LED display indicates a "snooze" condition with a blinking dot in the display which is a nice feature for me

I like the alarm feature that if you don't hit the snooze button within a short time the alarm beeps increase in frequency for those heavy sleepers

For the price point they have some great features and decent AM/FM reception.
