    Sony MDRZX110NC Noise Cancelling Headphones

    • I tried them first and they do a fantastic job of canceling airplane noise.
    • I find my $10 earbuds do a better job for that
    • I fly in airplanes a lot, and these do more than an adequate job of making my experience pleasant
    • It did a good job blocking out engine noise so that the sound from the device did not have to be up very high.
    • Bought these with the expectation that they would do a decent job of filtering out background noise, and because I've always appreciated the Sony brand when it comes to delivering or listening to music
    • The noise reduction is no joke, it does a good job of reducing harmful noise
    • These do a reasonable job of blocking sound in an office environment.
    • Doesn't do good job at noise cancellation.
    • They didn't do a great job of cancelling noise, and I certainly wouldn't say that the sound was great, but for what I paid for them, the sound quality was okay.
    • The sound cancellation, while not complete, definitely still does a great job of bringing out the best of whatever you're listening to
    • And it seemed like one ear was doing a better job of canceling than the other
    • both more and less expensive and all the others do a better job, at least for me.
    • Did a fairly good job.
    • It does an adequate job at work around tools.
    • Noice cancellation is, again, nowhere near that of what a Bose offers, but it does a decent job cutting down droning sounds like AC units or idling diesel engines
    • These headphones do a decent job of noise cancelling, and the sound quality is just above acceptable
    • On a plane, they do a good job at canceling exactly those background noises, making in-flight entertainment more enjoyable
    • On a plane, they do a good job at canceling exactly those background noises, making in-flight entertainment more enjoyable
    • so you don't have to worry about charging it often nor the embedded battery eventually failing (all batteries deteriorate). They do a great job at eliminating noise
    • These headphones do an adequate job, but they only rest on your ears; they do not cover them.
    • Once I do that, they do indeed do a pretty good job of cancelling noise, however for
    • Again, good job guys.
    • They do a good job of blocking
    • I thought they were doing a good job until yesterday when two men were talking loudly behind me
    • Good job Sony, for the price it is definitely well worth it.
    • and they do not do that job well...
    • Without the noise cancelling turned on, the headphones are 3.5/5for noise cancelling, but with the noise cancelling these sound almost as good as my turntable(Sanyo GXT 140 H, about middle of the road quality )+A-quality vinyls of the same recording, 4.5/5.They're not going to make conversations next to you go silent, but while playing some Dragonforce on my tablet at ~25% volume, the headphones did an excellent job at cancelling them out
    • Because they don't fit over your ear, the noise cancelling feature doesn't do a great job
    • There is a lot of low-mid range ambient noise where I work, and these do a great job of blocking out the background.
    • and they do the a good job for work headphones where I am listening to online meetings and to music
    • It did a good job blocking out engine noise so that the sound from the device did not have to be up very high.
    • These were so much cheaper and do a decent job of noise cancellation, which is the main feature I was looking for
    • They don't cancel the engine noise completely and the crying baby will still wake you up, but it's better than nothing and does a pretty good job for $30.My biggest gripe is comfort
    • The electronics do a great job of sculpting the sound that is pushed out of the small 30mm drivers
    • They do a fine enough job and bloking out all the surrounding noise though
    • The quality won't completely tune out outside noise, but it doesn't do a bad job either
    • Really useful, they do the job in cancelling the noise.
    • The Sony's do a decent job at cancelling out steady low end noise significantly
    • They do a good job for the price.
    • For $32 sony did a great job
    • Does a great job as promised...I just used them on a cross Atlantic flight and they worked wonderfully!
    • They do a good job of cancelling noise while having a good frequency response
    • Good basic pair of on-ear noise canceling headphones, nothing fancy but does the job no problems.
    • It does a great job of tuning out the loud airplane engine.
    • but they did a pretty good job reducing air conditioner hum and to muffle the TV.Any negatives?
    • I received this as a Christmas gift and they are comfortable and do a great job at cancelling noise.
    • NO REGRETS!Where the do not drown out all the noise around me, they do a heck of a good job at filtering out most of it to the point where I can easily concentrate and not find myself flying into a frustrated rage by lunch
    • Nice job Sony
    • They do a pretty good job of cancelling out typical background noise and even the TV if it isn't set too loud
    • These are not entirely noise cancelling, but for the price they really do a good job.
    • It does a really good job of cancelling out the machine noises
    • No, but they do a great job in toning down the harsh jet engine roar during the flight.
    • However, they do it perfectly fine job
    • I used this for air travel and it did a great job reducing the engine noise.
    • Do a good job for the price.
    • And while the Sony headphones don't give the ear coverage of the Bose, they still do a very effective job of reducing noise on the plane
    • Nevertheless they do a solid job of warding people away from me at work when I'm trying to concentrate
    • With the music playing they do a fantastic job paired with the noise cancel feature.
    • They do a very good job of eliminating almost all of the white noise/background roar in a plane cabin
