The other reviews are accurate-- noise cancellation only cancels out about 50% of the noise in my house, but for the price, it is understandable

These have great sound quality and the bass comes through fantastically without a muddy sound, as a matter of fact I would describe the sound as dynamic and this is with noise cancelling which also works great.

WHCH710N - Nice built quality, disappointing muddy sound, good active noise cancellation, the TaoTronics TT-BH085 sounds so much better for half the cost

Ultimately, between the merely mediocre noise cancelling and a sound profile which just isn't for me, I think I'll continue searching for a pair that better suits my needs.

The NC is decent enough to filter our everyday noise in places like cafe's, busy city streets, open office environments but doesn't quite hit the mark in environs like coach class in an airplane, the subway, etc

Which is also really good because white noise is a bass killer.

The key points: Subpar sound, cheap material feel, okay build quality, comfortable enough, acceptable noise cancellingI've tried a lot of headphones, from $5-$500, and these sound a whole lot closer to the $20 headphones I've tried than anything else

Easily comfortable for extended use, these are great for travel and easily have sufficient noise reduction for use in jet aircraft.

At this point, I find regular over-ear headphones provide better sound quality and more than adequate noise dampening.[LCVR]

However, unlike the WH-1000XM3 which remain nearly totally quiet despite all but the loudest outside noise with ANC enabled, some outside ambient noise is detectable between tracks and during quieter stretches of music.
