Sony Noise Cancelling Headphones WHCH710N: Wireless Bluetooth Over the Ear Headset with Mic for Phone-Call, Blue (Amazon Exclusive)

    • The other reviews are accurate-- noise cancellation only cancels out about 50% of the noise in my house, but for the price, it is understandable
    • It dulled the noise a bit but nothing like what I was expecting from the pair I used to have
    • These are fantastic noise canceling headphones
    • I ended up returning them right away because of the terrible sound quality and non-existent noise cancelation
    • These have great sound quality and the bass comes through fantastically without a muddy sound, as a matter of fact I would describe the sound as dynamic and this is with noise cancelling which also works great.
    • The noise cancelling works, but it's not amazing
    • If you are looking for good sound quality and noise-canceling one, go for others.
    • Great noise cancellation earphones.
    • The noise cancellation and sound works pretty good, but these headphones feel really cheap and although I paid less, I may return them and get a better pair.
    • The noise cancellation and sound works pretty good, but these headphones feel really cheap and although I paid less, I may return them and get a better pair.
    • WHCH710N - Nice built quality, disappointing muddy sound, good active noise cancellation, the TaoTronics TT-BH085 sounds so much better for half the cost
    • My next realization was how well the noise canceling worked and how clear the sound was
    • Ultimately, between the merely mediocre noise cancelling and a sound profile which just isn't for me, I think I'll continue searching for a pair that better suits my needs.
    • The NC is decent enough to filter our everyday noise in places like cafe's, busy city streets, open office environments but doesn't quite hit the mark in environs like coach class in an airplane, the subway, etc
    • Which is also really good because white noise is a bass killer.
    • (WHCH710N/L)Decent noise cancelation at an affordable price
    • While they resemble the WM3's, arguably the best noise canceling headphones around, they aren't really in the same class
    • Noise Cancelling:The smart noise cancelling feature seemed to be hit or miss for me
    • The volume isn’t loud enough to block loud noises such as cars passing by on road
    • This one features 'smart' noise cancellation that is fairly decent but not quite in the same league as Sony's flagship NC cans - the WH1000XM3
    • The noise canceling is great for background “white noise” type of sounds, but not that good for voices or sharp noises that aren’t in a constant range.
    • Very light plastic compared to Bose but very good quality noise, noise cancelling (you can turn off the cancelling of even put on ambient noise)
    • It offers rich sound and works well at lessening the the noises of conversation/televisions, and other distractions going on around you.
    • Similarly, the person on the other line could not hear me very clearly and noted that she could hear a loud droning noise in the background
    • The noise canceling dosen't work if they are off and just plugged in, but if you forget to charge them you can still use them
    • They sound good and the noise cancelling works great.
    • Decent bass, balanced mids and highs too, good passive and active noise reduction, light and comfortable
    • Decent bass, balanced mids and highs too, good passive and active noise reduction, light and comfortable
    • The key points: Subpar sound, cheap material feel, okay build quality, comfortable enough, acceptable noise cancellingI've tried a lot of headphones, from $5-$500, and these sound a whole lot closer to the $20 headphones I've tried than anything else
    • Easily comfortable for extended use, these are great for travel and easily have sufficient noise reduction for use in jet aircraft.
    • I kind of like this noise cancelling headphones
    • So far these things are amazing sound quality is great noise cancellation is amazing battery life was super surprising as well stays fully charge for so long my only criticism would be that the microphones don’t pick up your voice too well on phone calls but small price to pay Cuz who likes talking to anyone anyways..
    • Passive and active noise canceling is very good too, though active isolation can be better
    • From what I've tried/seen, there isn't a large jump in quality from a good $50 noise cancelling headphone until you get to around $250, so these aren't really worth it
    • Bought these for my dad and they cancel some noise but not like the Bose.
    • Really good noise cancelling & sound quality
    • At this point, I find regular over-ear headphones provide better sound quality and more than adequate noise dampening.[LCVR]
    • However, unlike the WH-1000XM3 which remain nearly totally quiet despite all but the loudest outside noise with ANC enabled, some outside ambient noise is detectable between tracks and during quieter stretches of music.
    • Affordable noise cancelling.
    • good sound, great battery life, ok controls, bad noise cancelling
    • I definitely wouldn't be relying on these to perform well in an environment where noise is an issue
    • Good noise cancellation
    • The Sony headphones cancel almost all of the annoying fan noise from the air conditioner, making for a peaceful and relaxing experience.
    • The noise cancelling works, but it's not amazing
    • Comfortable, absolute noise cancellation
    • All in all... great noise cancelling headphones.
    • I like especially that it’s not super noise cancelling because I like to be out of the house a lot
    • Good noise canceling headphones but can hurt your ear if you use it long time
    • But these, with street prices that can be much lower than $200 offer some really good noise cancellation
    • My apple 3.5 mm Jack headphones are louder, clearer, and most importantly no annoying static noise.
    • Tribit XFree Tune - Not an ANC model and not very good passive noise reduction, decent bass, mids
    • These WHCH710N headphones check a lot of boxes, they have decent noise canceling (not as good as the 1000s but pretty decent,The Ambient sound mode isn't too
    • sound quality is good to my uneducated earsCons:- Noise
    • It also works great if you are having a migraine and every noise is annoying the heck out of you (pop them on with some very soft music, hit the noise canceling and peace at last!).Also, if you are gaming and have them hooked up to the controller- they can work without being turned on
    • Active noise-cancelling and sound isolation
    • The noise cancelling works great for this
    • FAST FACTS:PROS: Excellent noise cancelling, great sound, awesome battery life, lightweight and comfortable
    • Overall, the Sony 710N is definitely not on par with the higher end and more expensive noise cancellation headphones available out there, but for the sound quality, great battery life, and much more budget friendly cost, it’s a good option to consider.
    • Good noise canceling headphones but can hurt your ear if you use it long time
