    Sony PlayStation 3 Blu-ray Disc Remote

    • I just don't get why Sony has apparently fired everybody who knew how to design a decent human interface; my Sony lasersdisc player from back in the pre-DVD era had the best remote control I've ever seen, so it's not like they've always been incompetent.
    • Comparing to a Bluetooth control (working as an RF control), you can practically point to anywhere and it still works

    • Remote controls always end up falling between couch pillows (and thus being sat on constantly) and being grabbed or played with by small children, which in both cases causes the buttons to be pressed and your PS3 to be turned on unnecessarily.

    • Menu is clear, reacts fast etc etc .. it only lacks a direct volume control which is kind of a weird miss actually, but whatever.
    • So this remote control was much cheaper than buying a replacement six axis controller and actually makes navigation much simpler
