Great sounding headphones with superb noise canceling , a sturdy case and great battery life

Louder, crisper and noise cancelling that was on par with the Bose and when you line up the features Sony, such as the touch to change volume/track, it's just a much better product IMO

I will say that overall, Bose had slightly better noise cancelling and significantly worse sound quality than both the Sennheiser and Sony

Compared to the QC25, these cancel noise just as well if not better.

It has dynamic nose canceling, so if you move to a different location with a completely different ambient nose type, it will adjust accordingly (specifically, it has 3 ranges to adjust to)

I thought my other headphones provided good noise cancelling.

These say noise cancelling but they are no where close to noise cancelling

The ability to temporarily disable the noise cancelling with you hand is fantastic for either a work or school environment

Let me be very clear: these are great headphones, with great noise cancelling.

Use the adaptive noise cancelling, after a hair cut or with or without glasses or what have you, you just press the button it will do a quick system test and customize the NC to fit the current environment.

Compared to the QC25, these cancel noise just as well if not better.

Here's the good - these headphones have excellent noise cancelling and an ideal blend of sound

Good for use at home, tried them in short flight once, I have to say the noise cancelling ability is not as good as Bose QC series (i have a QC25 and QC20 which is the best noise cancelling in flight headphone in my opinion).

All the pro reviews seem to agree that the Bose pairs have slightly better noise canceling while the Sony pairs have slightly better sound quality

With intuitive touch control and extremely effective noise canceling, they are the best I have seen so far

Apparently the Sennheiser Momentem 2.0 don't have the best noise cancelling and are a bit outdated at this point, so they got excluded

The Sony's do have better noise cancelling, but it's not so much better that I'm going to suffer in the comfort area for it.

Pros:- noise canceling: the best I've seen, blocked out even the loudest noises, and blocks out voices really well.- battery life: I use these wirelessly for most of my 40 hour work week, and charge them maybe once or twice a week (if even that).- bluetooth: the audio quality doesn't seem diminished at all over bluetooth, and how far you can walk around and still get signal with these is obscene.- touch controls: kinda cool you can use the right earphone to move next/back in music, change the volume, or pause noise cancelling.- passive use: if the battery dies, just connect an AUX cable and you can still use these as passive headphones.- passive noise cancelling

Sound cancelling was good but acoustic quality was never as good as "non" noise cancelling.

If you are a normal person though, the long batter life on these things, coupled with the amazing noise canceling and amazing audio quality makes them an easy purchase.

A fantastic wireless headphone with a ton of features and nearly perfect noise cancelling (the ability to temporarily disable cancelling by cupping your hand over the earcup so you can hear someone talking to you is extremely clever)

I finally bit the bullet and bought some expensive, noise cancelling headphones

They have excellent noise canceling and the listening quality is outstanding

I wish it had dedicated buttons for volume up/down (I don't like swiping as sometimes I have accidentally cut the call)

went to best buy before Black Friday to try out the 1000x and QC35 from BOSE.1000x has higher clamp force - but not as that uncomfortable as others describe

I found that -- PXC550 had an evenly beautiful sound but somewhat veiled/warm, the mighty bass drum blow in "Dies ire" did not shock as on the 1000X, and the harp arpeggio in the beginning of Nutcracker Waltz was hazy on the PXC550, but delicately clear on the 1000X.

Everything works exactly as it claims to

Sony has a pocket inside for the airplane adapter, then a mesh pocket on the outside for a cord (which I don't like as it tends to snag when you're stuffing the thing inside a bag - would have rather just had the pocket on the inside)

I'm coming from the MDR-1A, which had a phenomenal soundstage that you could hear and feel distances with, but they started creaking as you moved your head

As for me, I would never be ignorant or inconsiderate as to communicate with someone in such a manner, and I would expect the same consideration in return.
