Sony Premium Noise Cancelling, Bluetooth Headphone, Black (MDR1000X/B)

    • This is the best pair of headphone ever, too bad I cannot wear them for longer than 30min
    • My husband has a pair of these and I love the sound from
    • Works well paired to the Pixel 1 and HTC 10.
    • I love this headphone and pairing was very quick
    • This second pair works, but everyone thinks I have them on speaker phone
    • Both headphones feature NFC communication for easy pairing with phones
    • The best thing I can say about these headphones is that if I lost them I would immediately buy another pair and never look back.
    • Since, its bluetooth, the sound quality is far from great...compare to my Etymotic Research Hf-5, this pair of sony is horrible for the price
    • Really a great pair of headphones.
    • however I own a decent dac/amp combo and a pair of
    • Excellent multipoint pairing, but that's it
    • The other pair that I thought were decent are now utter crap in comparison.
    • Great pair of headphones
    • (I have a pair of Sony studio grade phones and a pair of Bose over-the-ear phones - not sure of the model but they're not noise canceling phones).
    • The other benefits are not so impressive that I would forgo a good sounding pair of headphones.
    • They are hardly the cheapest pair of noise-canceling headphones around, but the comfort, sound, and portability are all first rate, in my opinion
    • Giving it 2 stars because the other features works fine and I still use this as my daily headphone - but I could have paid a lot less for a great pair of headphones without the noice cancellation.
    • they best the Bose QC35 except: if you want to use them for NC only...they shut off automatically after 5 minutes unless BT paired and active
    • Over all an amazing pair of headphones.
    • For those like me that have a hard time with wire (I have broken a shameful number of headset by accidentally bumping into the wire one way or another) and really enjoy the noise cancellation feature (noisy house and frequent plane trip), looking for a good pair of headset hasn't been an easy tasks
    • I guess this would be the “cheap” pair in the bunch
    • Pair 1 was a refurb pair and someone had blown the drivers and they weren't repaired during refurbish
    • While soundstage is VERY good for wireless, it's still not quite on par with a good pair of wired
    • Even then, the pairing doesn't always work correctly
    • Excellent pair of headphones!I think a couple of other reviewers mentioned these headphones squeezed too tightly on their heads.
    • For the price you are getting an extremely good pair of headphones, but maybe not the best
    • simply the best pair of wireless headphones out there.
    • Simply the best pair of headphones I've owned to date.
    • Ultimately, I think these are a great pair of headphones for the price ($299 at the time of this review).
    • For the price you are getting an extremely good pair of headphones, but maybe not the best
    • extremely nice pair of wireless noise cancelling headphones.
    • Overall, these are a great pair of headphones, and I am going to use them a lot!
    • (or my pair is simply no good)
    • I may buy another pair for my girlfriend as well.
    • Overall, these are the real deal and should be a serious consideration for those looking at the QC35 or a good solid pair of "nice" headphones.
    • Purchased a second pair from here for a friend because I enjoyed these headphones so much.
    • , I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants a proper pair of headphones.
    • When paired with a device, the blue bluetooth led keeps blinking, once every few seconds
    • For an expensive pair of headphones I would expect a feature to turn it off or at minimum a dimmer blue light to prevent my headphones from causing seizures in those around me however, no dice.
    • These options are simple to utilize, and I think it makes the 1000X one of the coolest pair of headphones I have ever owned
    • Ok, these are a seriously awesome pair of noise-cancelling headphones
    • This is the best pair of headphone ever, too bad I cannot wear them for longer than 30min
    • Easy bluetooth pairing
    • Great pair of headphones, I really hop they will not crack like the previous model 1000x.
    • This is a great pair of wireless, noise cancelling headphones
    • I'm still holding out hope that someone will make a good pair of noise canceling headphones that sound good and are comfortable.
    • The most comfortable pair I own is my Denon wireless but the NC is useless.
    • I ordered one pair from the Amazon Warehouse Deals, it was a like-new pair, but just a bit after I got
    • I finally had the money and the inclination to find an excellent pair of headphones, for travel but mainly for the office where things can get loud and distracting.
    • Hands down this best pair of headphone I’ve ever used
    • Finally found the perfect pair of headphones
    • These are a fantastic pair of cans
    • The MDR 1000x's are and amazing pair of wireless noise canceling headphones
    • Definitely a good pair of headphones
    • I'm going to spend some bucks on a decent pair
    • For a good while, I have been researching a great pair of premium headphones
    • The headset / microphone is not just mediocre, but worse than a cheap pair of earbuds with an in-line mic
    • There's no warranty coverage for this design/material defect, therefore I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a nice pair of headphones
    • I wish it had dedicated buttons for volume up/down (I don't like swiping as sometimes I have accidentally cut the call)
    • went to best buy before Black Friday to try out the 1000x and QC35 from BOSE.1000x has higher clamp force - but not as that uncomfortable as others describe
    • I found that -- PXC550 had an evenly beautiful sound but somewhat veiled/warm, the mighty bass drum blow in "Dies ire" did not shock as on the 1000X, and the harp arpeggio in the beginning of Nutcracker Waltz was hazy on the PXC550, but delicately clear on the 1000X.
    • Everything works exactly as it claims to
    • Sony has a pocket inside for the airplane adapter, then a mesh pocket on the outside for a cord (which I don't like as it tends to snag when you're stuffing the thing inside a bag - would have rather just had the pocket on the inside)
    • I'm coming from the MDR-1A, which had a phenomenal soundstage that you could hear and feel distances with, but they started creaking as you moved your head
    • As for me, I would never be ignorant or inconsiderate as to communicate with someone in such a manner, and I would expect the same consideration in return.
    • The bad I am not able to hear my young son if he wakes up with a bad dream
    • The good I only hear what I am listening too
    • But still works as I except.
