9 months into things the headband cracked like many other ones that have reported this issue

They just haven't been around long enough for enough negative headband related reviews to accumulate

Very lightweight and top headband is very soft, not hurting the top of your head after hours of listening

The point is, the headbands will likely crack and eventually break on you if it hasn't already

But the QC35 was painful to wear as the headband is awfully stiff

but overtime the headband starts to crack, so if you can deal with that risk the sound quality is amazing

Headband cracked on both sides, after a few months of owning

The headband on mine cracked after approximately 7 months of use (if it wasn't sitting safely on my average sized head, it's always cased), similar to what many other reviewers have already mentioned

It has a great build but flimsy headbands

The headband has cheap padding as well and I question the durability

It appears that the Sony MDR1000X wireless bluetooth headphones have a deficiency in design whereas the headband starts cracking at the junction point where the ear cups fold in for storage

As for me, I would never be ignorant or inconsiderate as to communicate with someone in such a manner, and I would expect the same consideration in return.

I'm coming from the MDR-1A, which had a phenomenal soundstage that you could hear and feel distances with, but they started creaking as you moved your head

I found that -- PXC550 had an evenly beautiful sound but somewhat veiled/warm, the mighty bass drum blow in "Dies ire" did not shock as on the 1000X, and the harp arpeggio in the beginning of Nutcracker Waltz was hazy on the PXC550, but delicately clear on the 1000X.

Everything works exactly as it claims to

Sony has a pocket inside for the airplane adapter, then a mesh pocket on the outside for a cord (which I don't like as it tends to snag when you're stuffing the thing inside a bag - would have rather just had the pocket on the inside)

went to best buy before Black Friday to try out the 1000x and QC35 from BOSE.1000x has higher clamp force - but not as that uncomfortable as others describe
