Not only does outside interference become much less significant, I can actually hear the instrumentation and subtleties/nuance of voice that I can't hear when listening in an "out loud" environment.

What I do not like about these headphones is the microphone quality, they are just crappy, my voyager legend make much better job on noisy environments, these pick up all the noise around you, and no, there is no way for you to adjust that
