I suspect Sony is simply being prudent in that laptop power supplies are likely better-regulated than cheap wall chargers, and therefore less likely to cause damage

Maybe the future will provide the perfect ANC/BT earbud, but for today, the Sony's are as good as it gets

I believe Sony’s noise cancelling is very close to quality of the Bose but the earbud design fails.

Sony Xperia phones support LDAC and a bunch of Android phones like the Pixel 2, LG G6 & V30, and OnePlus 3

The WI-1000X is voiced warm, like other Sony's, and the absence of sibilance means I can listen to screechy modern pop without it driving me mad

I would prefer Sony to simply explain better, and tell us what the amperage limits should be
