Sony RCD-W500C CD Player / Recorder

    • Admittedly, I don't make CDs constantly like some but one year later, it continues to work great!
    • So - I ran across the Sony and $230 was a pretty good lure - it does make a nice CD but has a couple distractable quirks 1
    • If you like making CD's,there is no better product
    • My past experience has been many don't work because unless the blank CDs are PERFECT ( any small manufacturing defect can cause them NOT to work) and the slightest dust/vibration can result in failure
    • This unit was easy to learn at first, though it took a while to get the hang of doing CD-to-tape and back-to-CD recording, with all the tweaking of levels that were involved.
    • GREAT CD
    • If you are looking in the market for a good quality CD burner look no further
    • I have noticed that if one does not have the proper type input signal set on the machine (digital or analog) or the proper CD-R in the machine, the recorder will not recognize the input signal.
