Sony RCD-W500C CD Player / Recorder

    • It was a nightmare; Wasted discs, additional track numbers, skipped track numbers, unable to recognize disc if I stopped mid way through the mix, inability to finalize
    • If you want to go ahead anyway, make sure you use CD-RW and not CD-R discs because you will need to erase frequently and start over
    • The first unit I got worked about 3 weeks, then had trouble finalizing discs and eventually stopped functioning
    • My project is to transfer vinyl LPs and cassettes to CD and wasted about 20 discs to get 2 usable ones.
    • Also, received a C13 Error - not successful because of Vibration or a dirty disc -- the error message was not true because there was no vibration or dirty disk.
    • Plus, I had purchased a disc printer and needed to use white face discs compatible with thermal printing.
    • This is my second Sony RCDW500C compact disc player/recorder, which is identical to the one it replaces.
