Autofocus is very smooth

The autofocus is fast and the images are sharp edge to edge

If you’re willing to forgo useable autofocus and can deal with the minor, but existing, quirks of adapting lenses, then you have a vast array of other cheaper and smaller alternatives such as the Sigma 35 1.4 ART, Canon 35F2IS etc etc

love this lens, love the f stop ring on the outside of the lens, love shooting medium portraits at 1.4 and love how you can separate subjects from the background

Only the f-stops 2.0 and 2.5 work somewhat, all others from f1.4 to f4.0 are literally unusable, and this is a real pain, because this is why people buy lenses with low f-stops
