This lens produces great bokeh despite the wide field of view

An amazing lens with tack sharp photos and incredible creamy bokeh

Has a cinema like quality and the good bokeh surprises.

I used the lens on the A7S II to shoot some 4K video and the bokeh is just amazing

’re either sharp wide open with nervous bokeh (Sigma 35 1.4 ART), or pleasing bokeh but softer in focus

With the 35mm, I have a more useful walk around camera that can perform much better in low light conditions but also creates better background blur (smoother "bokeh") as the 35mm allows you to get closer to your subject which improves background blurring (as does shooting with a wider aperture of 1.4 versus 1.8).
