With the 35mm, I have a more useful walk around camera that can perform much better in low light conditions but also creates better background blur (smoother "bokeh") as the 35mm allows you to get closer to your subject which improves background blurring (as does shooting with a wider aperture of 1.4 versus 1.8).

I enjoy using it as a versatile walk-around portrait prime, both in daylight and in low-light

Autofocus speeds are not fast enough for fast walking or running subjects

Not that bad imo feels great and better build quality than any of my Canon l lenses
