all wrapped in a solid and cool looking aluminum bezel and it's precision machine cut lip
Other than that - light weight, good looking and actually an almost essential component if you have one of the 'phablet' phones where digging it out to check on a notification tone is neither subtle nor easy.
If you're looking for a low cost smart watch just to have one, this thing is pretty nice.
Really, if you pick a classic watch face design, and there are many to choose from in aftermarket software, it is a very good looking watch
It's a decent looking watch as other reviews have stated, but it is a little bit tall/thick on my wrist.
also a cool feature is that, if i accidentally put down my phone somewhere i don't remember or the phone is hided underneathe something where i can't find it, i can use the watch to find it, it has a cool feature to find the phone and make the phone ring, i think that's very amazing
It doesn't work as
if you have $90 that you absolutely have to GIVE AWAY - and can't find a good charity to give it to - and want to "experience" the features (part time - when they work) of a smart watch - and DON'T want to wait for a REAL PRODUCT to hit the market - then (and only then) buy this watch
Also, you can use the watch to control your music player on your phone, so this is a great feature for anyone that uses Google music or their phone as their mp3 player
save your money thought this watch would work as it says but too laggy battery dies pretty fastagain save your money
I have to say that for the price this product is excellent
Great product ,only wish the screen was a little bigger
That said, it breaks my heart to know this product was such a disappointment.
We are stuck with Sony's useless watch (one of the first Sony products we've purchased in years), they should be ashamed for putting out such a horrible product.
and it was not the battery just a bad product and surprised that this came from sony.
As a last reminder though, as this works off of bluetooth keep an eye on your phones battery as it will likely drain long before your watch runs dry
The smart watch works great to receive notifications of text messages and other items at times when I have to have the volume off and do not feel the vibration from my phone
This product at first worked great for about two months and now it stopped working i tried to get in touch with these
Now even with all these flaws when it's working properly it is indeed a very handy device
Once the charging cable decided to work the watch worked perfectly.
The Smartwatch is again a great little novelty that will fill your timekeeping needs
I recently bought the smartwatch 2 and I absolutely love it!
This watch is a bit cheaper than all the other smart watches available and for what you get it has a few features that you're only going to get if you go way off on an even more expensive smartwatch.
I will try because it is a great smartwatch just not strong.
If you are wondering if you might like a SmartWatch of any kind, start with this one.
it is a great product the charger rules the apps are limited I would marry it if it was not for it dropping Bluetooth all the time
Check the google play store for Sony smartwatch app and other useful apps.
It's color and has an established app eco system with some pretty useful apps.
Double tap (with some force) to wake the phone, swipe to change screens, tap once to access an app, pinch with two fingers to back out of an app
Let's discount the fact that the apps are pretty lame and not very functional, if they could manage to make the resolution better than the first ever cell phone that was released in
However despite its usefulness I cannot in good conscience recommend this device to anyone at this time, particularly at that price point
I've had this device for over a month now, and while when it works it's great, its flaws drag it down terribly
I still give it 4 stars because it is a cool device at a great price
This device is great for checking alerts in many situations1
The only thing I got the watch to do while I was able to keep it connected was show the time (incorrect time at that).I wouldn't even give this product a star, the key downfalls of this device are;1) Poor packaging, you don't need to make a vault out of sharp plastic.2
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Sony Smart Watch pairs and functions correctly with my phone
Obviously, the Sony Smartwatch apps conflicted or corrupted the Samsung Fascinate operating system so beware of compatibility issues when trying to pair this Smartwatch with an android phone.
Great Companion to all android devices not just sony good
I don't believe Sony is done updating the firmware yet as well
however as of Dec. 28 Sony has updated its smartwatch app again and works perfectly with this watch once more.
The cable included is about 2' long, white and has a nice soft touch rubberized feel to it, overall seems like a good quality cable
I would have rather gotten my money back and bought him a better quality watch
* The build quality appears good (but not exceptional): nothing feels flimsy, creaky or excessively plasticky, and the weight is well distributed
The build quality is good, all plastic and the glass in the front
So, if you have one that's still working, I would recommend not letting it go below about 25%.This had a lot of potential, but SONY seems to have ruined any possibility of success by having terrible quality checks for the product.
This watch will lose its time if away from the Bluetooth source, other than that it is a nice device and looks good as well.
But the touch screen works some of the time and not other times
With calls it might be a ring behind your phone, but it will still show up with the contact on the watch screen with more than enough time to determine how you want to handle the call
The watch slightly vibrates each time you receive new notifications and displays the message
with its last breath, it vibrates one last time and then it duly dies on you)
One of the plastic hooks broke so it won't stay on to the watchband, nor will it charge with the cable well, since the clip holds the proprietary charging cable in place
Yes its hard to see in sun light and yes the charging can be a hassle but not aggravating
save your money thought this watch would work as it says but too laggy battery dies pretty fastagain save your money
Charging cord - I mean... why try to be Apple-like and create a proprietary charging cord
The worse part is that they used their own proprietary charging port
