Only issues I have are the prices for 4K DVD's if they wasn't so expensive my collection would be growing faster

My biggest bugaboo with this player and why I won't give it 5 stars though it meets my needs at a good price is the lack of auto detect for Dolby Vision and the lack of a button to toggle on/off

Basic box design, small footprint, easy to set up, pretty nice remote, good set of apps, 4K streaming, up-converts non-4K quite well (including DVDs), non-wifi isn’t a problem, looks great on a Samsung 4K tv — all at a really good price

Better relation Quality/Price.

It would be nice if a mid-price player like the UBP-X700 released in 2018 supported 5 ghz.

The TV, as well I as the X700, have Amazon Prime app where I can play the same UHD material to compare.
