I think Sony makes great products, but this player no longer works for me.

and I am surprised a company like Sony would put out a product like this

I almost exclusively purchase Sony products and everywhere else aside from Amazon, this product has glowing reviews

Where as picture wise, Sony was for a long time one of most expensive products

In the real world, when your customer buys a product and it FAILS, you don't ask for a CC to guarantee your customer's honesty during return.

If this would work as advertised, it would be a wonderful product.

Now, your defective product is more important than public relations

Bad product, not what you would expect from Sony.

Why should users be stuck with a horrible, unfinished products for several months until developers get around to "finishing" their products

This product is not ready for consumers.

I advise staying far away from this terrible product.

Sony will not address this problem or support the product for its customers.

I do not recommend this product at all because to many people are having the same issue

Many very good Sony products in the past were failing due to the same reason, and it is even strange that the same problem exists for more than a decade (or two).

However, I still thought the price was too good to be true, and I had bad experiences with Sony's inexpensive product lines.

You will also save yourself a lot of hassles and you wont be blaming the product,thats like buying Kobe beef (@ $110 a pound) and making stew or soup out of it-i would say hamburgers,but i love them and would love 1 made from Kobe at least once loli bought at a local store for a great price due to previous

A good product by a reliable company, it is not unduly complicated and provides superb performance without the need to rebuild your library.

Again product(s) would score 5 Stars...delivery commitment & Sony Customer Service / Support about 2 stars...hence 3 Stars.

Maybe I got defective product, quality not great.

HULU is now supported - improved software updates keep coming making a great product even better.

But still, the player's audio doesn't work with my Sony Amp (Sony's fault).HDMI was supposed to solve all these problems, but I suspect the HDCP copy protection schemes are really screwing things up or the firmware has bugs or companies just produce inferior products

This product does not work with bose soundlink mini speakers.

As a customer, I don’t want to clean up the mess from sloppy product engineering or quality control

and I really like the product.

For the money, I have not ever seen competitive commercial product that even comes close to this level of quality

I do not recommend this product

This product is horrible, will not buy Sony again
