It's definitely noticeable and does a good job, but doesn't fully block out external noise; Bose in my opinion does a slightly better job on this

The noise cancelling does a good job of blocking a noisy desk fan, dish washer, and other repetitive household noises.

The Bose QuietComfort also did a better job of staying on my head

Sony does a great job.

My Sony headphones do a great job.

WIREDThe sensitivity is supposed to be slightly higher wired, but otherwise, I could not tell the difference between wired and wireless, so nice job, Sony
