I bought these headphones largely for listening to music and watching videos on my laptop, and am not an audiophile of any stripe, but I think for an average music lover the sound is pretty good

Bose call function is super clear- even with emergency vehicles zooming around where the Sony buds lower the sound but doesnt isolate it out

Medium to good sound, very bulky on the head and therefor not ideal for the gym, not nearly as comfortable as Bose QC35

So I still recommend this model for those on a budget for the quality of sound, excellent wireless distance and ease of use

If you don't want to read a wall of text: the sound is great, the noise cancelling is great, the touchpad controls are amazing and worth buying for alone, but the headphones only connect to one device at a time, and switching between devices is enough of a hassle to be a potential dealbreaker

The "Adaptive Sound Control" uses your phone's GPS to detect when you've moved from one environment to another so you can have the headphones automatically change the noise cancellation level/voice emphasis when you go from one place to another.

So far, listening through my phone, the bass isn’t overpowering, just really nice… in fact the sound is great in general, on vocals as well as instrumentals

If you love bass and high quality sound plus noise cancelling, these headphones would be perfect for you.
