Sony X800H 49 Inch TV: 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV with HDR and Alexa Compatibility - 2020 Model

    • Sony gets it right as usual
    • now I have a curse on me:I love Sony
    • However, it is unbelievable that Sony would not only refuse to honor the warranty but also blamed the defect INSIDE the tv on me
    • My first purchase for this tv was defective and Sony refused to honor its warranty after just few a months
    • I couldn’t give it a rating since it might have been dropped somewhere along the line so ratings not good right now, but Sony was great!
    • Sony Smart Tv's are lacking in so many ways especially regarding the Apps.
    • All of our TVs are from Sony because Sony delivers the best and this one did not disappoint.
    • Great job Sony!
    • Love my new Sony tv
    • At times, every 5-7 minutes it would flash another warning on the screen "Wi-Fi Disconnected".I am not able to describe my user experience with the outsourced Android OS/store interface without dropping well below PG-13.So long sweet Sony.
    • Sony always make good tv
    • Sony is the best!
    • This replaces a Sony smart TV that is a few years old.
    • Have been a loyal Sony customer for over 30 years.
    • Typical, very good Sony build quality and design
    • When it comes to picture quality I will say Sony is the best.
    • Sony names these features like everyone else
    • I can't tell if it's on purpose or not but Sony slaps the bluetooth logo on the box and then neglects to make it clear that it does not support bluetooth headphones (only remotes and controllers)
    • Sony always works and works well for
    • Not the fanciest Sony top tier product but a bargain when you want something at affordable price with some reliability.
    • Sony’s proprietary LCD foundries are unique in the industry
    • Sony has always been very good about privacy implications, which is the only reason I even bought this TV
    • You would think in our days SONY smart TVs shouldn't have these issues
    • it looks like Sony is no longer supporting these apps and doesn’t plan to make an update or a
    • Needless to say we LIKE this Sony
    • One Sony and one Samsung, bother 4k and less than 2 years old
    • It took nearly an hour-long chat with Sony Helpless to find that it cannot be paired via bluetooth with an equally new Sony soundbar.
    • However, it is unbelievable that Sony would not only refuse to honor the warranty but also blamed the defect INSIDE the tv on me
    • Viewing angles are a peek into the remarkable quality of Sony’s proprietary LCD foundry
    • I love my Sony TV
    • Sony has also programmed the TV to refuse connections from PC's if trying to Mirror the screen under wireless display or dock settings in Windows 8.1 or 10.
    • Sony has outsourced their support and chat or phone help was unavailable
    • Sony’s software, firmware, Smart integration, and image processors are likewise Sony proprietary
    • On 11/20/2020, Vincent from Sony Support replied to my question of where to find the OTA signal meter
    • I had a 34" curved ultra wide VA paney before this and I prefer the Sony
    • This was not a deal breaker for me, but I hope Sony fixes this issue soon
    • There is an obvious software / firmware problem — but Sony is not owning the problem and is not fixing it
    • soo good job Sony
    • Now the bad: (1) Typical Sony remote and menus, presumably designed for people in a parallel universe who do not speak any earth languages or use earth people's logic.(2
    • Sony hasn't disappointed me yet
    • This Sony X800H 43 inch TV is really nice
    • This would be a great TV line if Sony could get their software engineers to work on the problems.
    • I did see some reviews saying that sony tv Bluetooth didn't work on different brand products then sony compatible products with the sony tv
    • But the Sony remote works
    • Yes, the Sony is more expensive, and when it comes to things like local dimming, on paper, it has less features
    • Love Sony
    • The Sony X800H 55-inch TV is a lightweight monster, capable of being mounted on a wall, but we've simply placed it on TV stand using the TV's two base stabilizers (included).
    • Sony has always been the master of the best 'optical black' pixel to enrich the color pixel perception
    • It's another great Sony product, I'll stick with the Sony name in the future.
    • A great Sony 4K TV 📺 with all the aps !!!!!
    • I don't know if it's Sony's fault or Google's, but the OS and apps were rather more unstable than I like to see in a consumer device, and the YouTube app occasionally locked up in such a way that I'd have to cold-reboot the TV once or twice a week, which is not a statement you really want to make about a TV
    • All-caps subject line is warranted in this case:There are reviews about Sony introducing bugs in their software updates.
    • The picture quality is great (I am a loyal Sony customer) and I like the Smart Features
    • What a shame that Sony sold out to Google!
    • This is great for very specific situations, but for most it’s of limited use since most sound bars don’t support HDMI and if you’re using an AV receiver, in most cases, it’s already capable of extracting the audio
