Meanwhile other manufacturers (like Nvidia) have in fact removed it from their releases, because you can do that, so Sony is really just pointing fingers and shrugging.

Even though the picture is great when watching quality 4K streams, there are more negative points than positive points about this tv

I bought this TV on sale for $960 in October 2020, so the current pricing ($1200-1400) is a harder selling point for me

The 2 negative points about this TV are that VRR (variable refresh rate) is not currently supported and will come at a later date in a firmware update
