The Hi-res sound bar is fun, and with Arc channel on both units, setup is easy, and I can use the TV remote to control both units

I watched some old hockey highlights on YouTube and motion held up great.-Very easy setup.

The picture is so clear and bright, the colors are brilliant

But in HDR 4k content the colors and brights look really nice

Lastly, this tv suffers from terrible color banding

The colors, refresh rate, and brightness (even before HDR) are just excellent

My favorite setting is Vivid as it brings out the bright colors

Overall I love the set and am happy with it thanks to the fantastic image quality, innovative audio, and clean interface.

Android TV is a great interface, super responsive and with tons of apps

However, this TV has an excellent smart interface and has more than enough hardware to run it

I do enjoy the Android interface over the one in my old Samsung.

HDMI 2.1 will support VVR with 4K 120 (with the right HDMI cable - 48gbps)

But for the price and being promised a HDMI 2.1 4K 120hz, I'm sorely disappointed

It turns the TV on and loads up Netflix!-It supports HDMI 2.1, but I have no sources to test it.-It is also ready for next gen broadcast, but that's not in my area yet

I also bought this TV with hopes it would support HDMI 2.1 for next gen gaming (although this was not a dealbreaker)

Additional HDMI 2.1 features were also promised in future updates that have still not been released.

There are also many people having issues with blurry poor image quality in 120hz mode

Sony has canceled the updates and the one update they did release (4K@120) is broken.

This Sony supports all the new features and the picture is a real step up from my old 4k tv.

I had to hard reset it because the sound cuts out randomly, and when I shut it off with the remote, it must have a "quick start" feature like new Xbox's where they don't really shut down when you turn them off, but go into "hibernation" mode, so only hard resetting actually makes it

Finally got through and they walked me through a hard reset and now it seems to be working.

It also often hard resets when using the built in media player while watching a movie from the USB port, about every hour it'll produce a loud noise, then hard reset

Completely impressed with this TV for PC gaming, input lag in graphics or game mode is around 10-17ms while still keeping a beautifully contrasted picture.

Though input lag feels nonexistent once you tell the TV it has a PC connected to it

(What I mean by motion blur, and this bugs the heck out of me, is when gaming, walking or panning the camera in a third or first person game, the background gets completely blurry until you stop the camera.

Problems I had with the more expensive Vizio and Samsung were the sound syncing and motion blur.

I've actually boycotted Sony for the past 30 years or so as much as I could (with a few exceptions) because of the way they like to fragment the market (uh, think Apple) and not really provide any competitive or cost benefit in doing so

I don’t care for the intrusive ads

The only negative I can see right now is the corners are darker on bright scenes

My tv panel has some uniformity issues on the corners with noticeable vignetting on the top corners

AKA the corners get a little dark

The WiFi is pure garbage

The biggest issue i have is the wifi loses connection literally every day or every other day

On several occasions it has lost its connection to my home wifi network and simply will not reconnect - and it won't even let me try to restore the connection, but instead when I got into the TV's network settings I find it has disabled the wifi altogether and won't turn it back on.

It is not worth the picture having to deal with their horrible WiFi technology.
